Overview

Volume Index of Services continued to record positive growth of 6.5 per cent, reaching 167.7 points in the fourth quarter of 2025. This performance was driven by growth in the Wholesale & retail trade, Food & beverage and Accommodation segment (6.6%), followed by Information & communication and Transportation & storage segment (8.7%), Business services and Finance segment (3.5%), and Other services segment (10.3%).

For quarter-on-quarter comparison, volume index of Services increased by 1.9 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2025. This growth was supported by increases in the Wholesale & retail trade, Food & beverage and Accommodation segment (2.4%), the Information & communication and Transportation & storage segment (2.6%), the Business services & Finance (0.4%), and the Other services (2.3%).

 Meanwhile, the seasonally adjusted volume index for this sector recorded an increase of 0.5 per cent to reach 166.5 points in the fourth quarter of 2025.

 The overall, performance in 2025 recorded a steady increase of 5.8 per cent, reaching 162.9 points, compared to 5.7 per cent in the previous year.
